summer Adventure in Venosc<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Venosc, with warm alpine summers is known for it’s access to some of the best outdoor adventure activities in the French Alps. The Ecrins National Park<\/a> with it’s spectacular glacial scenery is just on our doorstep ready for hikers and climbers of all abilities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have several Via Ferratas<\/a> nearby which are excellent introductions to climbing on serious terrain, but in a family friendly and accessible way! The routes are cordoned off with steel cables and sometimes with iron stairs, from which you are attached in a harness yourself and you clip into the steel cables so that you can climb in an easier, and above all, safer way.  Venosc even has its own climbing wall for lead climbing! Let us know what you’re interested in, and we will be more than happy to help out with equipment rental.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are in a privileged place where we can ski winter and summer, with guaranteed natural snow on a glacier culminating at an altitude of 3,600 metres, Les 2 Alpes<\/a> is one of the rare ski areas to stay open in the Summer from June until the end of August. We also have Les 2 Alpes Bike Park<\/a> that has 2,300 metres of vertical drop, going from altitudes of 3,200 metres to 960 metres – making it one of the largest bike parks in the Alps! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Oisans region is also famous for his road cycling. The famous Tour de France<\/a> climb of Alpe D’Huez<\/a> is only a short ride away, as well as the lesser known but equally challenging and spectacular Cols of Galibier<\/a>, Croix de Fer<\/a>, and La Berade<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Venosc<\/a> also has a swimming pool with slide, mini golf, climbing park<\/a> and two tennis courts, all in all, there is no time to get bored here!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
